Hello! My name is Alexa Fishman and I am a 21 year old illustration major with a concentration in pre-production/concept art for video games, animations, live action movies, and anything else that requires environment/character/prop design!
Although I am studying to follow the art career path, I have an immense love of baking.
I discovered I had a gluten intolerance around the age of 14 or 15 and thought I would have to give up baking in favor of store bought gluten free goodies, but to my pleasant surprise I discovered this was untrue! With the help of the internet, books, and one of my best friends/trusted baking buddy (who puts up with my dietary issues, what a good friend) Isabel, I have learned to turn wonderful recipes into wonderful gluten free recipes!
Now I have the option to make gluten free goodies as well as almost any regular recipe (is it a bonus that I'm not tempted to eat those? not sure.)
I have started this blog to share my love of baking with whomever on the internet stumbles upon it and wishes to read what I have to say
